35 weeks

How big is the baby this week:  This week he is about 5 1/4 pounds and measures around 18 inches.  He's definitely running out of room!
How far along?  35 weeks and 1 day
Due date: July 31st, 2013 but he will be arriving on July 24th via c-section :)
The Bump:  HUGE and oh so uncomfortable
Belly button in or out?  Flat and it'll probably stay this way
Wedding rings on or off:  ON!  However between water retention and 100 degree heat, it's a tad snug
Best moment of the week:  Finishing up Marshall's room!
Sleep: Sleep has been a bit better actually and I'm sure that has to do with me not being so sick.  My cold has gotten a little better, so I've been sleeping a little better.
Miss anything?  Oh just about everything at this point
Movement:  Large movements since he's running out of room.  He likes to hang out on my right side
Food Cravings:  Nothing really now.  I'm just thirsty ALL.THE.TIME.  Food is all kinda blah to me since I feel so big that I don't have a huge appetite.
Anything making you queasy or sick?  Nada
Symptoms:  A little back ache here and there
Labor Signs:   Nope
Gender:  BOY!
Happy or moody most of the time?  I'm so excited for my baby boy to arrive.  We've been talking about how excited we both are and keep wondering what he looks like.
Looking forward to:  My Mom to arrive! AND of course the time when I get to hold my sweet boy!

Have a great weekend!

My Personal Pregnancy Faves

Since I'm nearing the end of my pregnancy (4 weeks so go), I thought I'd share some of the things that I found to be helpful during pregnancy.  When I first became pregnant last November, I found a couple blogs where women shared products that were useful, clothes that were useful and even experiences.  I found these to be super helpful!

I have to say, I've had a super easy pregnancy.  Well, at least I feel like I have.  I didn't get sick at all, I had no food aversions and no crazy cravings.   All in all, it's been great.  Now that I'm nearing the end, I am completely uncomfortable and just ready for my sweet little man to be here in this world.

Last Christmas, my hubby bought me this book "What to Expect When You're Expecting" and I have absolutely referred to this book each week of my pregnancy.  It's nice to read each week as to what I should or could be experiencing.  It's definitely a great reference!

I received the book "Belly Laughs: The Naked Truth about Pregnancy and Childbirth" by Jenny McCarthy as a gift from a friend of mine.  I will say that this book had me laughing hysterically out loud.  Jenny McCarthy is hilarious, yet completely truthful with her thoughts and experiences about pregnancy.  If you have a sense of humor, you'll love it and laugh throughout the entire book.  She has other books too that I'd love to check out.

Mustela Stretch Mark Double Action Cream - This stuff is the bomb!  I've never had an itchy belly and I have yet to get any stretch marks.  Not sure if the hereditary thing is true or not but if it is supposed to be true, I should've had some by now.  If anything, this cream does wonders to making your skin feel soft.  I just started my 2nd tube of it.  It also smells really nice.  I'm not a fan of the cocoa butter smell, so this cream is all around awesome!

Gap Maternity Support Cami - I purchased these very early on in my pregnancy and bought the white, tan and black.  I wear these underneath just about everything!  LOVE!  I actually ended up buying another white one in a larger size as I got bigger.  Now that it's summer, I wear them underneath tank tops and around the house.  They're soft, lightweight and completely comfortable.

Maternity Jersey-Stretch Tank Tops and Maternity Rib-Knit Tanks - Both from Old Navy.
I love these as well.  I found that one of the most comfortable things to wear during pregnancy was a tank with a cardigan over it.  I have quite a few colors in these tanks and have worn these over and over again.

I will admit that I did NOT purchase a body pillow.  I think I've done ok without it.  We have tons of king size pillows on our bed, so those worked just fine for me since they are large enough.

That's all for now.  Hope this was helpful!

34 weeks

How big is the baby this week:  This week he's is about 4 1/2 pounds and measures around 17 inches
How far along?  34 weeks and 2 days
Due date: July 31st, 2013 but he will be arriving on July 24th via c-section :)
The Bump:  Same.  I have been told by a few people this week that my belly looks small for only having a month left.  It feels huge to me though!
Belly button in or out?  Still flat.
Wedding rings on or off:  ON!
Best moment of the week:  Doctor appointment on Wednesday.  I have been sick for 2 weeks with a cold and horrible cough and my doc finally put me on an antibiotic.  Thank GOD!  I am finally feeling some relief.  They think Marshall is measuring to be a 4-5 pound baby right now.  One month left!  We installed the car seat and it's so funny to look in the mirror and see it back there.  Surreal!
Sleep: Same.  With being sick for two weeks, it's been hard to get any sleep.  I have to be propped up to sleep due to coughing and acid reflux.  My left side is in so much pain from coughing that I can only sleep on my right side and even that hurts.  I pulled a muscle from coughing, so it's pretty uncomfortable.
Miss anything?  I miss my normal body.  :)  I am just ready to meet my son!
Movement:  Still so active all the time
Food Cravings:  Eh, nothing really.   I drink lots of ice water and OJ.  I am obsessed with this Pomegranite/Blackberry Iced Green Tea.  I'm not too hungry these days at all.  I eat because I have to but there's no cravings.
Anything making you queasy or sick?  Nada
Symptoms:  Other than my coughing from my cold, nothing.
Labor Signs:   No
Gender:  BOY!
Happy or moody most of the time?  Happy Happy Excited!
Looking forward to:  Finishing up the nursery.  I'm just about done.  I am waiting on a few more items to finish.  I have to say, it's a pretty simple room.   My Mom arrives the day before Marshall is born and we are so excited to have her here for the birth and after!  It'll be such a special time.  Cannot wait!!!

I have to share a couple pictures taken by my good friend Becky at my baby shower a couple weeks ago.  She and my sister in law put together a beautiful shower.  I want to thank them again for everything they did and to everyone who attended.  We are beyond blessed with wonderful people in our lives!

Have a great weekend!

33 weeks

How big is the baby this week:  This week our babe is a little over 4 lbs and has passed the 17 inch mark!
How far along?  33 weeks and 2 days
Due date: July 31st, 2013 but he will be arriving on July 24th via c-section :)
The Bump:  Bigger.  With him packing on the weight, I can definitely notice my belly growing rapidly.  It's getting more and more uncomfortable to do much of anything these days.
Belly button in or out?  F-L-A-T
Wedding rings on or off:  On
Best moment of the week:  I had my Boise baby shower this past weekend and was able to celebrate with some family and dear friends.  I'm overwhelmed by the love and amazing gifts.  It was a great day.
Sleep: Right now it's horrible.  I've been sick with a bad cold since last Friday, so I haven't gotten any sleep.  I have the worst cough as well, so I basically have to prop myself up all night long or I have horrible coughing attacks.  I'm exhausted.
Miss anything?  Pretty much everything.  But again, I know that I'll miss the feelings of him moving in my belly once this pregnancy is over.
Movement:  Wiggles like crazy.
Food Cravings:  I eat the same things I have been but I don't know that I'm really having cravings at this point.  I just love ice cold water and fruit.
Anything making you queasy or sick?  Nada
Symptoms:  Some heartburn at night now.
Labor Signs:   No
Gender:  BOY!
Happy or moody most of the time?  Well, moody when I'm so uncomfortable but SO EXCITED FOR MARSHALL TO ARRIVE!
Looking forward to:  Finishing up the nursery.  It's almost done!

Have a wonderful Father's Day Weekend!
We will for sure be celebrating in our house this weekend with a
yummy breakfast and some treats for the new Daddy to be!

32 weeks

How big is the baby this week:  This week our little man should be measuring roughly 16.7 inches long from head to heels and weighs about 3.75 pounds.
How far along?  32 weeks and 1 day
Due date: July 31st, 2013
The Bump:  Growing every week.  It looks lopsided half the time because he pushes out on my right side.   All the extra weight in front makes the littlest things so darn difficult.
Belly button in or out?  Flat as a pancake
Wedding rings on or off:  On
Best moment of the week:  Doc appointment yesterday - we got to see him again.  He was sleeping at the time but his little mouth kept opening up.  So cute!
Sleep: Hit or miss.  I wake up every hour to go to the bathroom, usually take about 30 minutes to fall back asleep and then repeat until 6am when I typically wake up.  It's just too uncomfortable at night.  I've been sleeping really warm too.
Miss anything?  Oh yeah.  I'm so out of breath it's ridiculous.  I cannot wait to have that back!
Movement:  Constant.  The movement has changed once again.  Larger movements and I feel his little feet tickling my tummy.
Food Cravings:  Pretty much the same.  *see pic above :)
Anything making you queasy or sick?  Nope.  I'm so thankful that nothing has made me sick this whole pregnancy
Symptoms:  I have little coughing attacks once in awhile because of him sitting on my diaphragm.  Other than that, nada.
Labor Signs:   No
Gender:  BOY!
Happy or moody most of the time?  Excited!  I'm so ready to meet my son!  It's surreal.  Feeling so blessed, so lucky and so incredibly happy!
Looking forward to:  The weekend - baby shower fun! My sis in law and friend are hosting a shower for me.  AND I also get to attend a baby shower for one of my dear friends.  We are only a week apart!

Update from doc appointment:
Looks like baby Marshall will be here a week early.  He will arrive on July 24th via c-section.  We are beyond excited to meet him in 48 short days! AND my Mom will be here for the birth!
